A body was pulled from the Merrimack River on Sunday afternoon, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office. The Methuen Fire Department responded to a boat ramp at 1110 Riverside Dr. in Methuen around 12:45 a.m. on May 7, after there'd been a call of a body in the river, the district attorney's office said. The Methuen Police Department also responded, along with Massachusetts State Police's Dive Team. Law enforcement worked to pull the body from the river, the district attorney's office said.
